Ceramic Coatings
The ultimate armor for your vehicle's exterior.
Why Ceramic in Malta?
The environmental factors in Malta—intense UV radiation, salty sea air, and Saharan dust—demand a robust protective solution. Traditional carnauba waxes and synthetic sealants degrade rapidly under these conditions, often lasting only a few weeks.
Ceramic coatings are liquid polymers (typically SiO2 or SiC based) that chemically bond with the factory clear coat. Once cured, they form a hardened, semi-permanent layer of protection that does not wash away or break down over a short period.
Extreme Hydrophobicity
The coated surface becomes incredibly slick, causing water to bead and roll off rapidly. This "self-cleaning" effect means dirt and mud have a harder time adhering, making routine washes significantly easier and safer.
Chemical & UV Resistance
Ceramic shields the underlying clear coat from the corrosive effects of bird droppings, bug splatter, and tree sap. Furthermore, it prevents paint oxidation and fading caused by relentless UV exposure.
Enhanced Gloss
While the machine polishing stage generates the perfect finish, the ceramic coating locks it in. The high refractive index of the coating adds a measurable increase in depth and a candy-like gloss to the paint.
