Clarifications regarding our meticulous processes.
How does the Maltese climate affect my paint?
Malta experiences high UV indexes, sea salt carried by coastal winds, and seasonal "blood rain" containing fine Saharan dust. This combination rapidly degrades clear coats and waxes. Regular decontamination and robust ceramic protection are essential to prevent etching and oxidation here.
How long does a full detail take?
We treat detailing as a spa service for vehicles, focusing on quality over speed. A standard interior/exterior detail takes a full working day (8 hours). Multi-stage paint correction and ceramic coating applications require 2 to 3 days to allow proper curing times in a controlled environment.
What is the lifespan of a ceramic coating?
Depending on the specific grade applied and your maintenance routine, our professional-grade coatings last between 3 to 7 years. To achieve this longevity, the vehicle must be washed safely using pH-neutral shampoos.
Do you offer mobile detailing?
Due to the precision required for paint correction and the necessity of a dust-free, temperature-controlled environment for ceramic coatings, all high-end restorative services are performed at our facility. However, maintenance washes for existing clients can sometimes be arranged on-site.
Will polishing make my clear coat too thin?
We use ultrasonic paint depth gauges to measure the clear coat across the entire vehicle before any compounding begins. We only remove microscopic layers (a few microns) necessary to level out scratches, ensuring the structural integrity of the clear coat is never compromised.
